Small Business Saturday urges shoppers to support local stores as part of their holiday-buying.
Many local stores are offering specials, including businesses in downtown Butler, which are holding their passport contest once again.
“We’re trying something different this year, by having a digital passport. QR codes will be available at numerous businesses for people to download. And we have some great prizes this year,” Audrianna Bly of Butler Downtown said. She added that there will also be a paper version as well.
Small Business Saturday launched in 2010.
