A local man is recovering following an accident Monday afternoon in Butler Township.
According to police, 33-year-old Brant Hackbarth of Butler was driving his truck west on Route 422 Monday just after 2:30 p.m. when a large object flew out of the truck in front of him.
The object, which was later identified as a plastic bedliner, hit and broke Hackbarth’s windshield. Hackbarth sustained a minor eye injury from broken glass and his vehicle had to be towed.
A witness identified the vehicle the bedliner flew out of and police were able to determine that truck was driven by 32-year-old Duane Jackson of Butler.
