A longtime voice at athletic events in Butler has died.
Jay Miranda passed away last week following a long battle with diabetes.
Miranda was a Butler alum and served as a public address announcer at a number of athletic events in Butler.
Miranda was the voice of Pullman Park since it reopened in 2009. He also announced Butler High School football and wrestling for years.
Miranda was 60 years old.
