Major League Baseball Playoffs:
–The Milwaukee Brewers have taken a 3-0 series lead over the two-time defending World Champion Los Angeles Dodgers following a 6-2 victory last night in L.A. The Brewers Jake Bauers slugged a two-run home run off two-time Cy Young Award winning pitcher Blake Snell in the seventh inning last night while the Dodgers were leading 2-1. The Brewers ended Snell’s night, when the next batter, Garrett Mitchell, also hit a home run.
The Brewers had hit a lead-off home run against Snell in the first inning, but he retired 18 of the next 20 Brewers, including 14 in a row, before issuing a walk in the seventh inning prior to the Bauers home run.
The Brewers can advance into the World Series with one more victory. The Dodgers host Game 4 of the N.L.C.S. tonight – beginning at 8pm. The game will be televised on FS1.
–Game 3 of the American League Championship Series will be played in Cleveland this afternoon between the Guardians and the Tampa Bay Rays. Due to possible rain, the game time has been moved up to 1pm this afternoon. The game will be televised on TBS and truTV. The series is tied at 1-1.
