A local man is facing multiple charges after a traffic stop in Butler Township last week.
According to a criminal complaint, a township detective pulled over a vehicle for a code violation on New Castle Road near Duffy Road just before 11 p.m. June 30th.
The driver was identified as 30-year-old Jahil Robinson of Lyndora. He told the officer that a small marijuana roach was the source of a very strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed a baggie of marijuana marked “North of Death” in plain view on the front passenger seat. Several illicit pills were also found in the vehicle.
In addition to traffic offenses, Robinson has been charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
