A local lawmaker is offering help to residents who might be missing mail as well as those needing assistance completing forms.
According to State Representative Marci Mustello, the Shapiro administration recently ended a contract with a state mail vendor which has caused delays with mail from multiple state agencies including PennDOT.
All unsent mail has now gone out so residents expecting delivery should wait seven to 10 days. Those in more urgent need of assistance can contact Mustello’s office for more information.
Older adults and residents with disabilities have until the end of the year to apply for the 2024 Property Tax/Rent Rebate program for a maximum rebate of $1,000. Free help is available to make sure that the required forms are submitted correctly but due to the holiday schedule, tomorrow (Friday) is the deadline to bring all the necessary information to Mustello’s office.
