A Valencia man is facing charges after attempting to flee police while allegedly driving under the influence.
On May 8th, police stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Three Degree Road and Route 228 for speeding.
When officers attempted to pull the vehicle over, the driver fled and before eventually stopping on Adair Avenue. Officers were able to contact the driver, 44-year-old Jason Droske, who they said showed signs of impairment.
Droske told police he had been drinking and failed a field sobriety test. He was charged with attempting to flee or elude police and a DUI.
A preliminary hearing has not been scheduled.
