A Butler man is facing charges after he allegedly hit a nurse several times while trying to provide care.
On Saturday, police were called to Butler Memorial Hospital for 31-year-old Timothy Butler, who allegedly punched a nurse twice in the face and elbowed the nurse in the head.
According to charging documents, while nurses were attempting to calm down and restrain Butler, he was able to get one arm free and assault the nurse.
Butler has been charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, disorderly conduct, and harassment. He’s awaiting a preliminary hearing.
