A Butler man accused of murder has waived his preliminary hearing.
37-year-old Richard Swann is accused of killing 69-year-old James Hoover of Butler last month on Miller Avenue in the City of Butler.
Swann waived his preliminary hearing this week, so the case will now move to the Common Pleas Court. But the next court appearance has not been scheduled.
Swann was denied bail and is being held in the Butler County Prison.
