After being accused of assaulting and strangling a woman this weekend, a Butler City man is wanted.
The incident occurred on Saturday just after 7:30 p.m. on the 200 block of Fourth Street.
According to charging documents, the victim went to 37-year-old Travis Zaborowski’s home to get him to go to rehab. But when the victim attempted to talk to Zaborowski, it’s alleged he assaulted her, potentially breaking her finger, strangling her, and locked her into a bedroom not allowing her to leave.
The victim told police that Zaborowski fled the scene on an E-bike.
He has been charged with strangulation, simple assault, and false imprisonment. A warrant for Zaborowski’s arrest has been issued.
