Police have charged a Butler man with theft once again after it was found he attempted to steal and sell several more items.
On October 15, police were called to a Clay Township home for a reported theft of several items.
46-year-old Ronald Piper is accused of stealing the items and selling them to a scrap yard, including two dirt bikes, a cattle farm truck, and more.
The victim claims the owner of the scrap yard called to offer the items for sale to the victim before being informed they were stolen.
Piper is currently in the Butler County Prison for trying to hit a state police trooper with his vehicle.
Police also charged 42-year-old Tiffiney Martin of Bruin in the theft after she allegedly was driving the vehicle Piper used to steal the items in.
Martin has been charged with receiving stolen property and criminal conspiracy. Piper has been charged with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, theft of secondary metal, and a driving with a suspended or revoked license.
They are both awaiting a preliminary hearing.
