After allegedly assaulting hospital security a Butler man is facing charges.
On Sunday police were called to Butler Memorial Hospital just before 7 p.m. for a patient that hit a security guard.
When officers arrived on scene, the victim accused 19-year-old Anthony Oliverio of punching them in the face twice while attempting to flee the hospital.
Witnesses say that as Oliverio neared the exit of the hospital, he allegedly flipped a table and then hit the security officer with a closed fist twice.
He’s been charged with aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, and harassment.
He’s awaiting a preliminary hearing.
