A former Butler man who was charged with over 600 counts of child sexual abuse has pled guilty and was sentenced in Butler County earlier this week.
In January of last year, 45-year-old Harold Stahlman, who now lives in Tennessee, was accused of sexually abusing a minor in Slippery Rock starting in 2011 until 2020. After the crime was reported, Stahlman was extradited to Butler.
On Monday, Stahlman pled guilty to three counts of indecent assault of a person of 16 and under, three counts of unlawful contact with a minor, and three counts of corruption of a minor. Since his extradition, Stahlman has been in the Butler County Prison, he will receive one year time served for this time.
Stahlman was sentenced to six to twelve years in prison with three years of probation after his imprisonment. He will also have to pay $905 in fines, fee’s, and cost of prosecution.
