The Mars Borough has a new council member.
Christine Clutter was previously elected this past fall; however, she was recently hired as the borough Secretary and Treasurer.
On Monday night, the borough council selected Jana Snavely to fill Clutter’s council seat.
State Law requires that Snavely only serve a two-year term and she will be up for reelection during the next municipal election in 2027.
