Young students in Mars are holding theme days this week as they continue their annual fundraising for heart health.
Mars Area Centennial students are encouraged to wear exercise clothes today for “Exercise Makes the Heart Healthy!” Day.
Other theme days this week include heart clothing for “Remember to Take Care of Your Heart” Day tomorrow, and sports jerseys on Thursday for “Tackle Heart Disease” Day.
The Mars Area Elementary School is raising money online through this Friday (2/14) while the Primary and Centennial Schools are holding fundraising efforts through February 28th to raise funds for the American Heart Association.
