The Mars Area School District is holding a fundraiser this week as well as a hiring event.
Mars Area Primary Center students are encouraged to particulate in a Lucky Ducks contest all week to benefit the school’s Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports program. Kindergarten and first grade students who pay $1 in cash will be able to guess how many ducks are in a jar. The winner will be announced next week. The PBIS program recognizes and rewards students for positive behavior.
The Mars Area School District and the district’s substitute service ESS will be hosting a job fair on Tuesday in the Administration office from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Open positions include substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, nurses, secretaries, and custodians.
