Some Mars Area School District students are fundraising while the High School Guidance Office is offering financial aid assistance.
The Mars High School Law Enforcement Club is holding a raffle tomorrow (Monday) through Friday. Items to be raffled include a gently signed David Bednar Yankee pinstripe jersey as well as a Bret Michaels autographed hat and banner. Tickets are a dollar, seven for $5, 15 for $10, or 25 for $20 and will be sold during all lunch periods outside of the cafeteria.
Students in grades 9 to 11 and their family members are invited to join a free PHEAA (Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency) Financial Aid Jump Start Webinar on Tuesday starting at 6 p.m. Topics to be covered include college costs, types of financial aid available, and the application process. Registration is required through the website of the Mars Area School District.
