Melinda Kaufold

Melinda Kaufold, 61, of West Sunbury passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026. She was born in Butler on August 17, 1964, to the late Carl and Helen (Sandford) Brandon. Melinda attended college and pursued culinary arts and care giving. She loved all animals and enjoyed horseback riding, barrel racing and raising and showing silky fainting goats. Melinda was the beloved wife of the late Merle “Butch” Kaufold; mother of Gibby Horlick; sister of Melissa Young, Heidi Scheerbaum, Rickey, Mickey, Gib and Roy Brandon.
