A Mercer County man has been charged after a child was found in terrible living conditions last week.
According to Grove City Police, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Park Street the afternoon of June 30th to check on the welfare of a 5-year-old child.
An investigation determined that 50-year-old Josh Caldwell was responsible. In addition to drug paraphernalia being found, two dogs were determined to have been neglected at the residence.
Police arrested Caldwell and charged him with Endangering the Welfare of a Child and possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. Additional charges are possible pending an investigation by the Mercer County Humane Society.
