A Michigan man is accused of stealing over $1,900 worth of video game consoles.
On June 28, police were called to the Butler Walmart for a two stolen PlayStation 5’s.
According to charging documents, 19-year-old Darnell Gaddis of Detroit presented himself as an independent contractor delivery driver that works with Walmart.
Gaddis showed employees an order for the two PlayStation’s but the bar code on the order would not scan. Gaddis then took the two consoles and left the store.
He has been charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property, and possession of in instrument of a crime.
A warrant for his arrest has been issued.
