The Moniteau boys and girls will host a doubleheader of playoff games tonight. The Moniteau girls face Pittsburgh’s Westinghouse in a District 8-9 Class 3A playoff game beginning at 6pm. The winner will meet top-seeded Karns City next Tuesday at Union high school in the Semifinal Round.
The Moniteau boys host Kane in a District 9 Class 2A match-up. Tip-off is 7:30pm. The winner of this game will meet the winner of tonight’s match-up of Keystone and Redbank Valley next Tuesday in the Semifinals.
Last night – #11-seed Warren upset #6-seed Grove City 55-43 in the District 10 Class 4A boys First Round.
The Slippery Rock girls basketball team will begin their playoff run Saturday when they meet Oil City in the D10 playoffs.
