Those interested in getting some outdoor exercise while learning about conservation history are invited to Moraine State Park this weekend.
On Saturday visitors can meet with the park naturalist at the 528 Boat Launch from 12:30 to 3 p.m. for a Women of Conservation: Glacier Ridge Loop hike.
During the approximately two-and-a-half-mile hike on moderate terrain, participants will learn about some of our country’s conservation leaders.
Those planning to attend are asked to wear sturdy footwear, dress for the weather, and bring water and snacks.
