Anyone looking for a fun outdoor activity this weekend is invited to visit Moraine State Park.
A Star Party is planned for Saturday night from 9 to 10:30 p.m. at the Lakeview Beach Parking Lot Area on the North Shore.
Volunteers from the Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh will bring their privately owned telescopes to help participants learn how to spot a few planets and constellations.
No smoking or flashlights are allowed at this free event but attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket as well as bug spray.
