Visitors are welcome to an upcoming event at a local state park that will focus on spring birds.
Moraine State Park is hosting a Spring Bird Walk from 8 a.m. to noon at the Old 422 Launch by the Region 2 Office off the Prospect exit.
Local members of the Todd Bird Club Audubon Society bird chapter will lead birders of all skill levels an easy hike in search of a variety of birds.
Attendees are asked to bring water, snacks, and binoculars if they have them but binoculars will also be available.
