A local state park will provide a unique opportunity for guests this weekend to learn more about history while enjoying nature.
On Friday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. the park naturalists from Moraine State Park will offer a Wild Teas Walkabout.
Visitors are asked to meet beside Pavilion 7 at the McDanels Launch Area on the North Shore for a leisurely stroll while learning about the history of wild tea made from local plants.
Guests will also have the chance to enjoy teas brewed from these native plants while learning how to identify and brew at home.
