One man was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in Jefferson Township late last week.
The accident happened Friday evening around 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of Alwine Road and Country Lane.
State police say 72-year-old Michael Altemus of Sarver lost control of his motorcycle and went off the road, hitting a ditch.
Dispatchers say Altemus was conscious, but confused and had a serious injury to his leg and foot.
A medical helicopter was called and landed at the Saxonburg Fire Department.
He was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital for treatment.
