Police are providing more information on a motorcycle crash that sent one person to the hospital last week.
The accident happened last Monday just before noon on East Butler Road, when police say 46-year-old Matthew Swain went across the railroad tracks on his motorcycle.
But Swain’s motorcycle’s brake system locked up while crossing the tracks, causing Swain to fall off the bike. He suffered injuries to his head and left side of the body, and taken to Butler Memorial Hospital. Police say Swain was not wearing a helmet.
