A man who was on the run was taken into custody after a chase in Butler Township earlier this week.
Butler Township Police attempted to pullover a motorcyclist shortly before 4:30 p.m. Monday on South Duffy road. But the motorcyclist fled from the scene.
The pursuit was terminated a short time later, but officers later received a call about a motorist driving through backyards and a wooded area near Highfield Road.
The cyclist would eventually crash and be taken to the hospital. Once in the hospital the man was identified as 51-year-old Bradley Harriett of Butler. Harriett had run from the police because of active arrest warrants for possession charges.
Once treated and released, he was placed in the Butler County Prison.
Charges are currently pending the completion of an investigation.
