Nancy Jane Olinger

Nancy Jane Olinger, 89, of Renfrew, passed away Sunday, Aug. 2, 2026, in Allegheny General Hospital.
Born March 12, 1937, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late John Stanley Dickey and Mabel Irene Mahoney Olinger.
A registered nurse, Nancy worked at the Butler VA Medical Center. She treasured the time she spent with her loving family. She was devoted to her cat, and she was an avid birdwatcher.
She is survived by her daughter, Katharine Schaffner and her husband, Jonathon, of Butler; four grandchildren, Heather, Brandon, Colton and Emmalyn; and one great-grandson, Jackson.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William H. Olinger, who passed away March 23, 2003; one daughter; and two brothers.
Services and burial were private.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Martin Funeral Home Downtown, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.
