Nancy Mae Terwilliger, 89, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on December 16, 2025, at Concordia at the Orchard.
She was born October 19, 1936, in Butler, Pennsylvania, to the late Troy and Grace (Shearer) Henry.
Nancy graduated from Evans City High School in 1954. She worked as a Cashier for Thorofare Market for 5 years, and was also a homemaker for her loving family. Mrs. Terwilliger was a member of East Butler Presbyterian Church, as well as the Butler Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, the Marienville Rod and Gun Club, and did volunteer work for Second Grace, as well as First United Methodist Church. Nancy enjoyed reading, sewing, solving crossword puzzles, building jigsaw puzzles, being outdoors, gardening, camping, fishing with her husband, as well as spending time with her loving family.
She is survived by her two daughters, Beverly (Terry) Geibel and Diane Stephens and her friend Ron Gold; her two sons, Terry (Debbie) Terwilliger and Glenn (Maureen) Terwilliger; her seven grandchildren Joshua Geibel, Amber (Brandon LaMotte) Terwilliger, Troy Terwilliger, Cody Terwilliger, Brook (Ely Elliot) Terwilliger, Dalton Stephens, Kaleb (Brittany Crissman) Stephens; her step-grandchildren, Christopher Cain, Sandi Kradel, and Bradley Kradel; her three great-grandchildren, Noah LaMotte, Milo LaMotte, and Tucker Geibel; her brother, Eugene Henry; her two sister-in-laws, as well as by her numerous nieces and nephews
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Richard D. Terwilliger, whom she married on May 22, 1958, and who passed away on January 10, 2014; her son, Dennis R. Terwilliger; her two brothers, Leroy Henry and Russell Henry; as well as her sister, Jean Morris.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, and from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, at Thompson – Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street Butler, PA.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am, on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home Inc., 124 East North St. Butler, PA, with Reverend Bob Mathias, officiating.
A private burial will take place in Butler County Memorial Park.
