Nascar Cup Series – Off this weekend

The Nascar Cup Series is “idle” this weekend. It is the final weekend off of the season. They return with a race in Iowa next Sunday. Four races remain in the regular season before the “Chase” playoff field is set. Denny Hamlin remains the regular-season points leader.
