A local bank is expanding into another community.
NexTier Bank will open a full service branch location today in Ford City.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday morning will kick-off a week-long celebration at the Ford Street location, which will culminate in a community celebration on Friday.
The Ford City location is the 30th full-service branch for NexTier.
NexTier was established in the 1890s and is headquartered in Kittanning.
