Butler City firefighters were called to a local restaurant Thursday morning for a possible fire.
It was 10 a.m. when crews were sent to the Butler Hot Dog Shoppe on South Monroe Street. Two fire trucks were on scene looking for a possible fire in the ceiling.
Butler City Fire Captain Tom Fair said there was no fire but rather an overheated electrical component in the ceiling.
There were no flames or smoke and no damage was done.
No one was hurt.
