Nominations are now being accepted for the 2026 River of the Year.
The annual competition is sponsored by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and it aims to bring awareness to the state’s waterways.
The winning waterway will receive grant funding to help organize activities throughout the year celebrating the river.
Nominations can be made anyone, but must be in before November 21st. View more about the contest here.
