Norma Jane “NJ” McDonald, 78, of Pine Township is now with the Lord. She passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026. She was in the wonderful care of New Haven at Clearview, Butler.
NJ was born in Butler on September 2, 1947. She was the daughter of the late Jane and Norman Heinzer. She was a graduate of Butler High School and attended Butler Community College. During her years as a real estate agent, she was one of the first Million Dollar Producers.
NJ loved golf and belonged to the Treesdale Country Club, where she was a member of the 18 Holers. She was also a member of the Butler Country Club.
She was an expert skier, gourmet cook, loved to play bridge and go bowling. Dancing was one of her favorite past times. NJ was a member of the Butler Garden Club for many years. She had the privilege of traveling the world, usually cruising. She spent many years boating and enjoyed entertaining her very close friends, “The Gang”.
She is survived by her husband, Lee McDonald and son Troy (Kim) and two grandchildren, Morrow and Teagan.
Toni Grupp and Marcia Osche were her wonderful caregivers before and at the end of her life. The Amedisys Hospice gave her extra special care at her last moments.
