Norma Kamerer born February 1, 1935 and died March 22, 2024 surrounded by her family after a battle with cancer.
Norma was a beautiful women, inside and out. She will be remembered by her family and many friends that loved and admired her. She was 89 and lived in Butler, PA all her life. Born in Butler in 1935 to Rudolph and Elizabeth (McAndrew) Bachofner (deceased). She attended Butler Area Schools.
Norma was married to Leroy Fair (deceased) 1952 to 1981 and Rueben Kamerer (deceased) 1983-1984. She is survived by her partner, Gary Double.
Norma worked and retired from the Butler Area School District Food Service since 1966. She was a member of the St. Mark Lutheran church.
Norma belonged to the American Legion in Butler where she had many friends.
Norma is survived by her loving son, Bruce Fair and his wife, Marie and their children. She is survived by a sister, Betty Kraus who resides in Butler. She is also survived by 3 step-children and grandchildren. She has many nieces and nephews who she loved.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and a son, Richard who died in 1999.
A private funeral had taken place. Norma will be missed every day and will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her. The family wants to thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers for Norma. Arrangements completed by the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St. Butler.
