A Butler man has been arrested after he allegedly punched an officer in the face.
Just before 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at an apartment on the 200 block of North Washington Street in the City of Butler, police were serving a narcotics-related search warrant.
When police were able to get into the home they saw 41-year-old Joshua McDougall attempting to escape.
When officers caught McDougall, he allegedly hit an officer with a closed fist while resisting arrest. Another officer was injured during the struggle to arrest McDougall.
After being taken into custody, McDougall was placed in the Butler County Prison on $250,000 bond and has been charged with aggravated assault, revisiting arrest, and drug possession.
