Visitors to Lake Erie this summer are urged to be cautious following another tragic death on the water this weekend.
17-year-old Madison Gallagher of Westmoreland County was found dead on Presque Isle State Park Sunday after walkers found her body on the beach.
Gallagher was on a kayak with another boater when the kayak overturned. One of the boaters was saved by someone on a watercraft, but Gallagher went missing.
Her death follows the death of two other men from Pittsburgh who died in an accidental drowning earlier this month.
Officials urge visitors to follow all safety precautions, including wearing a life jacket if you are out on the water.
