One person was injured after a single vehicle crash on I-79 in Muddy Creek Township on Thanksgiving.
The accident happened near the Portersville/Prospect exit just before 3 p.m. Thursday.
The driver of the vehicle 29-year-old Ryan Weaver of Highspire, PA was traveling south and started to head into the median and lost control.
Police say Weaver overcorrected and went into the guard rail before coming to a final stop.
The passenger in the vehicle, 27-year-old Olivia Hite of Scranton, PA, suffered suspected minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
The vehicle needed to be towed from the scene and Weaver was cited with driving at a safe speed.
