A new study shows how much impact outdoor recreation has helped the state’s economy.
According to the Bureau of Economic Analysis, the outdoor industry contributed $19 billion to the state’s economy, which is up 10 percent from last year.
The study also found the industry supported 168,000 jobs.
Some areas of significant growth include cycling, water activities, and snow sports.
