The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the San Jose Sharks 3-0 Saturday night. Sidney Crosby scored his third goal of the season mid-way through the second period and goaltender Tristan Jarry stopped all 31 shots he faced for his 22nd career shutout. He was matched up with former Penguins goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic, who stopped 24 of 26 shots on goal for the Sharks. The Penguins won two of their three games on the west coast road trip. They host Vancouver Tuesday.
Jarry’s 22nd shutout ties him with Penguins great Tom Barrasso for second-most in team history. (Marc-Andre Fleury holds the all-time leader with 44.
