PennWest University has a new interim president.
The Pennsylvania System of Higher Education approved Dr. James Fisher to serve in the interim capacity to oversee PennWest, which is made up of Clarion, California, and Edinboro.
Fisher was the interim provost and vice president of academic affairs at PennWest prior to being appointed interim president.
He was a longtime professor at Edinboro before moving to administration.
