The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Minnesota Wild 4-3 last night at PPG Paints Arena. Sidney Crosby scored the game-winning goal on a third period power play. It was one of two goals scored by the Pens on power plays in the game. The Pens did give up a 3-0 lead in the game.
Crosby is now four points behind Joe Thornton for 12th on the NHL’s all-time scoring list.
Despite a 7-0 loss in Toronto last Saturday, the Pens have won three of their last four games. They host Carolina Thursday.
