The PEOPLES Eat, Drink, Help program has benefited another local nonprofit organization.
A $1,000 check was presented Monday by PEOPLES Gas to Wes Stock 2.0, an annual music festival benefitting pediatric cancer research. It was named after 7-year-old Wesley Zablocki of Butler who lost his fight with bone cancer in 2015.
The check was presented at Schnur’s Greenhouse.
The Eat, Drink, Help program supports local businesses, while at the same time benefiting local charities and nonprofits, in an effort to build a stronger community. PEOPLES partners with a business, and that business chooses a local charity to support.
