People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals—better known as PETA—is hoping to encourage vegan eating at an upcoming event in Butler City.
PETA will be sending their “Hell on Wheels” truck to the Butler AM Rotary Carved in Ice Festival on Saturday at 11 a.m.
This truck looks and sounds like it contains real pigs headed to slaughter complete with actual recordings of the screams of panicked pigs as well as subliminal messaging encouraging vegan eating.
Event organizers say the truck will not be parked by the Wienermobile and won’t be able to park in the designated event area.
