Pirates add veteran to pitching depth

The Pirates have signed veteran right-handed pitcher Mike Clevinger to a minor league contract. The 35-year old Clevinger has pitched for the Cleveland Guardians, San Diego Padres and Chicago White Sox over his nine-year career. His best season with 2018 in Cleveland, when he went 13-8 with 207 strikeouts and a 3.02 ERA over 32 games.
