The Pittsburgh Pirates fell to the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-3 last night.
Oneil Cruz had two RBI’s for the Pirates, who scored early against former Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal. However, Skubal shut the Pirates down, not allowing a run for the final six innings of work.
Jared Jones allowed two earned runs in four innings of work.
The Pirates try to salvage a game in the series with a 4:10 p.m. first pitch in LA. They head to San Diego to face the Padres Monday.
