A local group is pushing back on the American Lung Association’s “State of the Air” report.
Pittsburgh Works Together, which is an advocacy group for business and labor, says the report has its own metrics to “achieve a pre-determined outcome.”
According to the report, Pittsburgh received failing grades for air quality.
The group argues that the American Lung Association doesn’t follow federal clean air guidelines and sets their own standard.
