The Pittsburgh Passion fell 42-14 to the Minnesota Vixen in the Women’s Football Alliance championship game. The game was played in Canton, Ohio. The Passion played without their star running back Ellisyn Knapo, who was the Offensive Player of the Year. They were also hurt by five turnovers with four interceptions and a fumble.
Co-head coach Lisa Horton has been part of the SRU football program as an assistant coach. She is currently building The Rock Flag Football program. She is a former player for the Passion.
