State police are investigating after someone used a fake credit card to purchase heavy equipment.
Police say it happened over the summer at Stephenson Equipment in Prospect.
The suspects allegedly used a fake credit card to buy over $5,000 in equipment.
State police say their investigation found that similar crimes were happening throughout Pennsylvania and in other states.
Their investigation is ongoing.
